Uniting World Project
One Well. Countless Lives Changed.
Join us in raising $20,000 to build a solar-powered well in rural Zimbabwe.
Together, we can provide clean water, food security, and hope for an entire community.
Across rural Zimbabwe, the climate is harsh, hot, dry, and unpredictable. Access to clean, sustainable water is critical for survival, yet out of reach for many.

That’s where we come in.
Uniting Heart and Soul is joining forces with UnitingWorld to support a project that’s already bringing transformation to seven schools and communities across Zimbabwe.
We’re inviting Uniting Churches across Sydney, and beyond, to unite and raise the $20,000 needed to build one more solar-powered well.

Why this matters

“Because every person is beloved by God and invited to enjoy the rich blessing of abundant life.”
We believe in solidarity, not charity. This well will be built with local communities, not for them. Our partners in Zimbabwe know their land, their people, and their solutions. We're here to support their vision, not replace it.
Let’s walk together toward justice.

Why one well?
At a local school, a well means:

Clean drinking water for students like Tanika
A thriving school garden providing daily nutritious meals
Better focus and opportunity to learn
Access for the entire community to grow food at home
One well. One school. A ripple effect across the whole village.

This is an opportunity for UCA churches to unite under one cause, reflecting the heart of recent Synod directions. Imagine the collective impact when we stand together to fight injustice, poverty, and inequality with hope, faith, and action.
We’ve launched a funding page so individuals, churches, and groups can contribute directly, with tax-deductible giving available.
